On Friday April 12 at 7:00 pm, join the SIUE STEM Center, CosmoQuest , and the River Bend Astronomy Club in celebrating Yuri's Night at Annie's Frozen Custard in Edwardsville!  Yuri’s Night is a global celebration of humanity’s past, present, and future in space. This world wide space party commemorates April 12, 1961, the day of cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin’s first manned spaceflight, and April 12, 1981, the inaugural launch of NASA’s Space Shuttle.

View the night sky through telescopes and binoculars, learn how to find your way around the constellations, and just hang out with other space and astronomy (and frozen custard) enthusiasts!  If you'd like to help or want last-minute go/cancel information if things are looking stormy, please contact me. Entering our 17th season at the Edwardsville location, Annie's branched out last year, opening a year-round dine-in, drive thru location in Glen Carbon that will celebrate it's first season in March.  This compliments the original Edwardsville location, a walk-up facility located in downtown Edwardsville.  A block from the Edwardsville Public Library.  The Glen Carbon location is located across from the Showplace Theatre.  Please visit either.
